NUE Magazine - Premier Issue

Good morning, dears!

This weekend started with amazing good news: the digital version of the premier issue of Nue Magazine - you can read the issue here -  is already out! For those girls who featured the issue you can finally see your photo on the "Street Style" chapter featuring the hottest trends of this Summer. 

This is my first appearance on a fashion magazine and I'm thrilled! Don't quick your dreams and you'll start to see positive results. This one is surely a positive one!

Midi Sports

Hello there, guys!

Summer is finally back, or at least the sun is out and the good weather as well. We're heading out to pick up the rest of our things to bring them to our new home (it seems it never ends...). 

We shot this look a few days ago before it started to rain like hell. It turned out one of my favorites! This midi skirt quickly became my favorite piece in my closet - so retro, chic and super versatile - and I have the same in white. Gotta play with them more often!

Chic Boyfriend

Good morning, dears!

Well, first couple days of Summer and they are full with rain, thunder, wind and just a tiny portion of sunlight. St. Peter is playing with us... Not cool, man!

I'm sorry for the radio silence on the blog but these last few days have been chaotic and when the day end all I want is to lay in bed and sleep. 

But finally things have calm down and I'm back on track with my outfit posts!

This is my daily uniform. I cannot get enough of the combination with trashed jeans, blazer and heels. Edgy and chic, are the main characteristics I'm looking for when I'm standing in front of my wardrobe. Those jeans used to belong to my brother, but since he grow up and got thinner, I adapted them to me. A little touch here and there, cutting the knees on both legs and giving them a twist and voilá, they became my favorite pair of jeans! Adding black stilettos, white blazer and tank top and I'm ready to go. It's one of those looks you already know what to combine with what. 

And big news for the blog: I'm adding a new page named WORK where you can check my latest work as a freelancer stylist with a dear friend photographer, Bruno Rosa, whose first opportunity of working together came last year when he asked me if I wanted to do a phootshoot with him.

Pick of the Day - Cross Back Dress

Morning, dears!

Today it's going to be a busy day so I'm just letting you know a dress I cannot wait to buy. I have a huge thing for tight dresses, but that are covered in the front since I have a small chest. I tend to buy the ones that have an open back or other details to make it stand out. And this one is the perfect example! Not to open in the front and super open in the back. Beautiful! And it comes in other colors as well. It's so versatile, you can dress it up with a pair of pumps or ankle strap sandals and a blazer, or dress it down with a pair of flats and a leather jacket or an oversized spring coat.

Blue Halter

Good afternoon, guys!

Here you have yesterday's outfit. It was another almost Summer day and I decided to wear a dress that I usually don't wear that much (and I honestly don't know how! 'cause it's gorgeous!). I bought it last year for my birthday, from Miranda's Collection for Mango S/S 13. This dress came in four colors - black, red, blue and emerald green - and to change from all the black dresses I have I bought this amazing piece in blue. The neckline brings out the shoulders and the side zipper glues the dress to you body. It's not too tight or short so you don't feel uncomfortable in it.

Now, time to enjoy the company of my little nephew. He's growing so fast...

Hey there, guys!

How's your week going? Here it's been super hot and sunny. We're still unpacking our things into the new home. And well, Portugal lost the first game of the World Cup but there's more games and we'll make it! There's still hope!

Good news! I've been contact recently by a brand called HoodBoyz, an online multibrand platform based in Germany and established in 1992. They're main clothing line focus on sports items and with some well-known brands like Adidas, Nike, DC and Timberland. Actually, they're retailing Hip-Hop and Street Style clothing for men, women and children offering a line of shoes, jackets, jeans, sports clothes and accessories for every age. And they're now on sales on the website so go take a look and you may find something you want/need at a super affordable price. They also have vouchers and coupons online for the costumers to save when shopping at they're online store. 

The company spreads their merchandising to various countries, that's why they have the options to be viewed in other languages and they ship internationally.

Besides the big names, there was one that called my attention, Urban Classics: great sports items, clean and minimal cuts and comfortable clothes. And have selected a few sports items since I'm coming back to my workout routine (after being forced to stop it due to some personal issues) it's a plus and a great way to work in style. I went for monochromatic items and added a varsity jacket to jazz up my daily casual style. And sneakers won't be a part of my selection from HoodBoyz. They will be in a neon color (maybe these ones), maybe pink which is a color I do not use that often but in training clothing I think it looks better.

Serão numa cor neon (talvez estes), talvez cor-de-rosa já que é uma cor que uso muito pouco mas que em roupa desportiva fica sempre bem.

Casual in my Hometown

Hey there, guys! 

The weather has been so good lately, it just feels like Summer. I'll be moving to our new home by the end of this week so I'll be timing some posts just to keep the blog alive for the weekend and the rest of the week. 

This is the second time Bruno Rosa and I are working together. I went for something simple (it was just one of those days...) and put together a men's shirt, some slightly ripped jeans and brown platform shoes. As you can see for the photos (and on my Instagram) the pavement isn't the best to walk with heels like those 'cause we took these photos in the oldest part of our hometown. So, I wore my white flats just to walk around, that weren't that white by the end of the day... Oh well. And I love the second black&white photo! He captured and framed the details I wanted perfectly and they turned out even better in b&w. Thanks, Bruno!

Though I'm not used to wear something like this, I think it's time for a change and to try new things (talking about clothes and style). Daily Snaps - I

New week has begun! 

And there is new projects ahead and I'm super excited. I can finally focus on my work and it's an amazing sense of accomplishment. 

As I said on one of my latest post, I'm starting a new topic on the blog called "Daily Snaps", and will be featured on the blog but the end of every week. It makes me look for every detail, every little thing that's different, and keeps me focus on what's around me. So, these are the photos I selected for the first post of "Daily Snaps", few details of my everyday routine.

During May...

Good morning, dears!

I'm currently focusing on my thesis presentation (which is tomorrow) and that's why I'm not posting to much on the blog. But after tomorrow it all will change! And I'll have more time for the blog and to focus on my little life project. 

Changing subject, here you have a small recap of what I wore during May. Pretty simple and effortless looks, 'cause basics tend to be the best option for minimal and clean outfits! I know a did a similar post a few days ago but that one was a mix of April and May.  

I already have some photos to show you and I'm aiming to do a different post on the blog with daily photos (I'm always with the camera on my shoulder and phone on my hand, and I'm always taking photos; so it's time for me to share some daily pics of my life with you).

Happy Sunday, guys!

The sun is shinning and the weather is amazing! In a few moments I'm going to have lunch with my mum, sister and nephew (miss that kid so much!). 

After doing my morning updates on the online stores I founded these beautiful crop tops, just perfect for summer! And honestly I cannot decide on the color. Pair them with some high waist denim shorts or skirt, flats and a bag pack. What do you think of them?
